As she sits in the rocking chair
she rocks with an intensity
that of course leads no where

In her utterly

anxiety flows through her like a muddy river
 she waits
and waits
 for the quaking
in her veins to cease

Nerves are as s.h.a.tt.e.r.ed
as the vintage wine bottle
that lays at her feet

Her heart soars with love and contentment
that NO words can describe
BUT
Her mind is a restless wind
which can not be contained

  3. The structure had me going through all the emotions right along with her. Interesting that her mind is so restless and her heart so full of love. Totally intriguing writing, Cindy!

  5. Good morning to you too Cindy...from Lorraine's blog...all well but a little too busy with guests and other things,

Just rushing through reader, didn't see your post...this could be autobiographical...and I could relate with her -- the most loved filled hearts are most often with the most restless minds :)

Hope Isabel and all are doing good :)

    love,
